Woman charged with attack on husband

SPRING HILL -- A 27-year-old Spring Hill woman was arrested Saturday after a dispute with her husband where deputies accused her of wielding a beer bottle and a butcher knife, her arrest report said.

SPRING HILL -- A 27-year-old Spring Hill woman was arrested Saturday after a dispute with her husband where deputies accused her of wielding a beer bottle and a butcher knife, her arrest report said.

According to her arrest report, Peggy Blackburn, 12130 Hamlin Road, was arrested at 7:03 p.m. on charges stemming from a fight with her husband at 4:25 p.m. Saturday. The report said she hit her husband, Charles, on the head with a beer bottle and used a butcher knife to cut his head and chest.

No information was available about the extent of Charles Blackburn's injuries. Peggy Blackburn was in the Land O'Lakes jail Sunday afternoon facing a charge of aggravated domestic battery. She was being held on $25,000 bail.
