Foreboden Haunted House
Annual haunted house returns to ParkSide Mall, to benefit "Ghouls" (Girls) Incorporated of Pinellas. 6-9:30 p.m. today, upper level at ParkSide Mall, U.S. 19 and Park Boulevard, Pinellas Park. $5 adults, $3 kids 12 and under. (727) 544-6230.
Haunted House and Trick-or-Treat at University Mall
University Mall, Metropolitan Ministries, Specter Academy and others sponsor a haunted house at the shopping mall (parental discretion advised for young children), 4-9 p.m. today, 2200 E Fowler Ave., Tampa. $6, or $5 with canned food donation for Tampa Jewish Family Services Community Food Bank. Haunted Trail at Heritage Village
The twisting trails around the grounds of Heritage Village are transformed for Halloween. Guides set the mood with a story of the macabre, then groups of six set out to explore the darkness. Note: because of graphic and startling encounters, event is recommended for ages 12 and older only. Patrons should wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes.
