Carrollwood actors gives scholarships to 2 students

The Carrollwood Players, a not-for-profit organization, have selected two recipients of their Harry J. Frain Memorial Scholarship.

Jaqi Levy, a sophomore studying theater at Hillsborough County Community College, and Seth Travaglino, a junior majoring in theater at the University of South Florida, will each receive $300. The scholarships will be presented at the Carrollwood Players annual meeting on Aug. 28.

Frain was a long-standing director with the Carrollwood Players and other local Tampa Bay theaters.
